Polytronics
Technology Corp. provides you an innovative protective solution for
reliable electronics systems by building
from PPTC (Polymeric Positive
Temperature Coefficient) overcurrent protection devices, ESD electronic
packaging component and integrate into power control system.
Since the importance of power protection increases with the complexity
of modern electronic systems, you will be very much
interested in our
EVERFUSETM!
Features The small-sized EVERFUSETM with various form factors
achieves overcurrent /overheat protection and acts as voltage
divider/current limiter. With its resettability, EVERFUSETM
surpasses the fuses which can only be used once, excels ceramic PTC's
which consume more power and is superior to current-limiting
IC's which
are more expensive.
Function At the room temperature, resistance is almost as low as zero so
that current flows as if no resistance exists. In the case that short
break causes heat to increase, resistance will arise such that excessive
current is not allowed to flow. PPTC element is able to sense reaction
and become the state of current break, depend-ing on the ambient
temperature and use condition. If short break is relieved or ambient
temperature decreases, resistance of the element will be soon restored
in order to be usable as normal condition.
Applications Our EVERFUSETM is ideal for low voltage
over-current circuit pro-tection applications such as Com-puters,
Peripherals, General Elec-tronics, Battery, Telecommunication etc. And
it can be applied to almost anywhere there is a low voltage power supply
and a load to be protected.
