SMD
From the industry’s smallest 0603 to 2920, Polytronics has the most complete surface-mount self-resettable over-current EVERFUSE® PPTC product portfolio. From the first SMD1812 product launched in 1998, SMD1210, SMD1206, SMD2920, SMD2016, and SMD0805 were quickly followed into the market. The industry’s smallest 0603 PPTC was launched in 2008. Currently all the SMD series meet the RoHS requirement, and products have also started to shift to halogen-free material and process from Q4, 2008 to meet European Union standard. Polytronics also offers low-rho SMD SLR series to effectively decrease the device size and profile, which is ideal for battery Protective Circuit Module (PCM).
Low-Resistance SMD type
From the industry’s smallest 0603 to 2920, Polytronics has the most complete surface-mount self-resettable over-current EVERFUSE® PPTC devices. RLD
All the series are RoHS compliance, and halogen-free series are also under development for European Union requirement. From 6V to 72V product series, Polytronics offers the full range of radial-leaded product portfolio, which gives engineers more design flexibility and reliable protection at the same time. Polytronics EVERFUSE® PPTC has low resistance, fast response time and up to 14A holding current which meet the various design requirement.
Telecom
To meet the growing concern of over-current protection in telecommunication equipments, Polytronics offers both surface-mount and radial-leaded resettable EVERFUSE® PPTC device, to help customers overcome power interference and inrush current specified in ITU, Telcordia and UL for increased reliability in telecom products.
